Pasture Rangeland and Forage Program, PRF, helps cattle and hay producers with drought conditions throughout Nevada.
In Nevada 2.7 Million people are affected by drought, 17 counties with USDA disaster designations, and 2022 is the 10th driest year for the past 128 years.
In 2022 37,842,735 acres in Nevada were enrolled in the PRF program. There have been $172,615,462 indemnities paid through the Jun/Jul interval so far.
